Gerri and I caught up today for a portfolio building session. We started in the studio and then headed down to Salamanca/Docks in search of beautiful images. I think we found some. 
Gerri was a trooper and managed to follow my inarticulate directions! Thanks Gerri!

We were stoked to have the opportunity to shoot a fashion set comprising of select garments from Pitbull Mansion’s summer range. Huge props to Johnnie from Halcyon who not only did a superb job with the hair styling, but also hooked us up with a makeup artist and introduced us to our models, Hayden and Olivia. Johnnie’s connections also made the amazing location possible, huge effort, thanks dude. Thank you’s also go out to Meg, Tim and Beth who all helped make the shoot a success.
Hayden and Olivia were great to work with and we managed to get some shots that we were really pleased with. It’s late, I’m tired and bed is beckoning, so I’ll not ramble on any further - it’s the photos you wanna see anyway…
I had a great time with Dan and Sarah last Saturday as they celebrated their wedding at St David’s Cathedral. It was an absolute pearler of a day, sunshine, blue skies and the boys were probably a little warm in their suits, but to their credit they soldiered on. The whole day went off without a hitch, apart from a missing stretch limo which disappeared momentarily, but overall I think everyone had a great time!
I’d like to wish Dan and Sarah all the very best in their married lives together and thanks for having me along for the day!

Alison and Gerard were married in Alison’s parents amazing property in the Huon Valley. The clouds threatened all day, but the rain held off which allowed us to capture their intimate garden ceremony. We would like to wish Alison and Gerard all the very best in their married lives together and thank them for allowing us to be part of their special day!

So it’s my birthday next week and Christmas is just around the corner, so I thought I would post up some stuff that I’ve been eying off recently in an attempt to help my family. They often lament that I am impossible to buy for, so I’m seeking to prove that is not the case.
First up, I want an Apple iPhone. Now being that they are not currently offered or supported in Australia, I’ll have to be content with the iPhone’s poor cousin, the iPod Touch. It’s still a rad little device in it’s own right and one of which I would be proud to own. 
Next on the list is an addition to my PS2 game library, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. Pretty self explanatory. I’m not the greatest guitarist on earth, but games like this let me pretend.
I’ll add more as I remember them…
I’m a little addicted to Texas Hold’em Poker. I’d love my very own set. I like the proper resin chips, not the nasty plastic ones… They need to have a bit of weight about them, makes for a much more genuine casino experience! 
How about a flying alarm clock. Evidently you have to get out of bed, retrieve the helicopter and put it back in it’s slot to turn off the alarm. That might just work…

Caught up with Claire and Greg for a quick engagement shoot last night. We had to delay beer’o'clock to squeeze it in, but that’s the kind of dedication I show for my clients!
We headed down to Nutgrove Beach and grabbed some casual portraits and I decided to share a few of the more adventurously processed versions … just because. I’m enjoying the texture overlay feel and I think it’s something I’ll continue to explore in my work this summer, so look out for it! Check them out!
Yesterday I was treated to a rare Sunday wedding, which was great cause it meant I could relax on Saturday for a change! The wedding was in the lush gardens of the Cascade Visitors Centre, which always provides heaps of great photo spots. It was a very relaxed ceremony and although the weather threatened most of the afternoon, it was magically calm throughout the proceedings and the sun even managed to peek out from behind the clouds for the bride and groom’s first kiss as a married couple.
